The original Edwardian building sits in
stunning landscaped grounds – which
includes a wildflower meadow, with
glorious changing views to North Hill
and the West Somerset coastline – and
was comprehensively refurbished as a
Care Home in 2004/5.
It is complemented by a wonderful new
luxury building which provides nursing
care for residents, as well as a wide
range of facilities not normally associated
with care homes.

In these days of internet and email, we have a well-stocked library which doubles as a computer room and computers are equipped with the latest internet connections and webcams. Computer-literate staff are always on hand to help with the technicalities of instant and visual communication with relatives, some of whom may be overseas.
We have a Hairdressing and Beauty Salon, as well as the services of a Chiropodist. There are 41 en-suite bedrooms equipped with television and telephone in the new building, and 20 in the original home. Many have balconies, which extend the living area and provide a lovely place to sit, to chat with friends or just watch the world go by. There are lifts to all floors. Every resident has their own individual care routine which is planned with the resident and reviewed regularly.
