Short Stay

We are able to offer short stay or respite care on a half day or full day basis to anyone wishing to join us should your needs increase temporarily; or to support your immediate carers to take a break.

Some residents join us for a period of rehabilitation following a hospital stay to provide further support to continue your return to full health.  We have numerous residents that join us for a period of respite care on a needs focused basis when they, or their regular carers, feel that they need assistance.
Should you join us for a period of respite care we will support you to become familiar with your new surroundings and encourage you to participate in all that our home has to offer.  Whilst you stay with us you will be designated a personal room and encouraged to bring some personal belongings to engender a feeling of home.
If your stay with us is for a half day or full day respite care you will be welcomed into our home and benefit from our friendly social environment should you wish to.  During your day we can support you to have a bath/shower using our fantastic facilities and you can partake in our wonderful and varied activities programme.  Our home cooked cuisine will also be provided as standard and certainly, we hope, become a highlight of your visit.
